Ilona Kirzhner, Lean Six Sigma Master Consultant

Ilona Kirzhner has been practicing Six Sigma for over a decade. Originally she served as a Black Belt for AlliedSignal Inc in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 1999, Ilona co-founded BMG and served as its Chief Operations Officer through 2004. While with BMG, Ilona provided high level executive training, mentoring, and deployment planning guidance, and acted as a key account manager for many of BMG's largest accounts. Additionally, as the firm's lead Master Black Belt, Ilona has played a key role in developing the company's Six Sigma curriculum, and in training BMG's Master Black Belts. After starting a family, she now acts as a senior practitioner.

BACKGROUND

Ilona is a pioneer for Six Sigma developers, trainers, and mentors. Over the course of her career she has taught more than twenty-five waves of Black Belts and trained hundreds of Green Belts, Champions, and Master Black Belts. Her technical background and practical experience have allowed her to create training materials and methodologies that many companies now use as their model for their internal training systems. Ilona's experience has allowed her to build an unparalleled reputation as one of the premier Lean Six Sigma trainers and consultants in the world.

Ilona is a pioneer, mentor, and role model for LSS program leaders, trainer and consultants. Over the course of her career she has taught several thousand practitioners at all levels of the origination. Her technical background and practical experience have allowed her to create customer programs and materials that many companies now use as the model for their own internal training systems.

Ilona provides clients with a high level of executive training and coaching, and deployment planning services, in addition to belt training and mentoring. Ilona is a sought after speaker, author and practitioner in advanced statistics and Lean Six Sigma.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

Ilona holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University, an M.E.S. from Harvard University, and an MBA from the College of William and Mary. She has also completed extensive graduate level statistics coursework at the University of Tennessee's Applied Statistics Department.
